Yes. During early access, all available features are completely free with no account required. We plan to introduce paid tiers in the future for advanced features like flight history, alerts, and API access. Current free features will remain generous.
We use real-time ADS-B data from the OpenSky Network, a community-driven open data source. Coverage depends on their receiver network. Most commercial flights over populated areas are tracked well, but coverage may be limited over oceans and remote regions.
The fuel burn and CO2 figures shown are rough estimates based on typical consumption rates for different altitude ranges. They are not based on specific aircraft type identification and should be treated as approximate indicators, not precise measurements.
Not yet. The web app works well on mobile browsers. A native iOS and Android app is on our roadmap for Q3 2026. Sign up for updates at the bottom of the page.
FlightRadar24 is a mature, established product with over 35,000 ADS-B receivers and extensive features. FlightTrace is an early-stage alternative that's free to use. We have fewer features and less coverage, but we're actively building. We recommend trying both and using what works best for you.
